Hoje na sess\u00e3o solene do feriado municipal <\/p>\n
\tTorres Vedras, Lisboa, 11 nov 2015 (Ecclesia) – A Câmara de Torres Vedras vai entregar hoje a medalha de honra de grau ouro do município ao cardeal-patriarca de Lisboa, D. Manuel Clemente, natural deste concelho.<\/p>\n
\tA distinção vai ser entregue hoje a D. Manuel Clemente na sessão solene do feriado municipal, entre as 11h00 e as 13h00, no Teatro-Cine de Torres Vedras.<\/p>\n
\tA decisão foi tomada por unanimidade, a 20 de outubro, e tem como finalidade atribuir uma distinção excecional ao patriarca de Lisboa, explicou o presidente da câmara, Carlos Miguel, citado pela Lusa.<\/p>\n
\tO homenageado foi criado cardeal pelo Papa Francisco a 14 de fevereiro deste ano, depois de ter sido nomeado patriarca de Lisboa a 18 de maio de 2013, após a resignação do cardeal D. José Policarpo, falecido em março de 2014.<\/p>\n
\tManuel José Macário do Nascimento Clemente nasceu em Torres Vedras a 16 de julho de 1948.<\/p>\n
