Bragança, 22 mar 2014 (Ecclesia) – A Diocese de Bragança-Miranda promove hoje uma conferência sobre a constituição dogmática “Lumen Gentium”, com a presença da professora Maria Isabel Pereira Varanda, do Centro Regional de Braga da Universidade Católica Portuguesa.<\/p>\n

No folheto explicativo da iniciativa, enviado à Agência ECCLESIA, o bispo diocesano, D. José Cordeiro, recorda a importância que o documento saído do Concílio Vaticano II (1962-1965) teve para “a compreensão que a Igreja tem de si mesma”.<\/p>\n

“O fim específico da Igreja é a vocação de todos à santidade” enquanto a “vida consagrada” sublinha a sua natureza “transcendente”, quase como uma “porta-bandeira”, pode ler-se.<\/p>\n

A conferência sobre a “Lumen Gentium” (Luz dos Povos<\/a>), organizada pela Vigararia Episcopal para a Ação Pastoral, vai decorrer no auditório Paulo Quintela, em Bragança, a partir das 9h30.<\/p>\n

Maria Isabel Pereira Varanda, especialista em Teologia, vai abordar questões como “a santidade” enquanto “modo de ser”, a “identidade cristã” e o “estilo eclesial de habitar o mundo”.<\/p>\n
