Patriarcado greco-ortodoxo de Antioquia manifesta preocupa\u00e7\u00e3o <\/p>\n
Lisboa, 25 set 2013 (Ecclesia) – O Patriarcado greco-ortodoxo de Antioquia lançou um apelo em favor das monjas e das crianças do mosteiro de Santa Tecla, cerca de 50 quilómetros a norte da capital da Síria, que enfrentam a falta de água e alimentos.<\/p>\n
No total, cerca de 40 pessoas estão totalmente impossibilitadas de sair, “a não ser arriscando a sua vida”.<\/p>\n
“As ações militares aumentam no nosso amado país”, alerta o comunicado, divulgado pelo jornal do Vaticano, ‘L’Osservatore Romano”.<\/p>\n
O apelo foi lançado à Cruz Vermelha síria e à Cruz Vermelha internacional, bem como a todas as organizações humanitárias no território sírio.<\/p>\n
A guerra chegou também à aldeia de Maalula e os tiros de artilharia caem perto do mosteiro de Santa Tecla, destaca o Patriarcado greco-ortodoxo.<\/p>\n
“É o ser humano que paga o preço desta tragédia”, sobretudo suportando o sofrimento, fugindo dos seus lugares de origem, acrescenta o comunicado.<\/p>\n
