O Cardeal Kim destacou que a paz na pen\u00ednsula pode ser realizada somente por meio da intensifica\u00e7\u00e3o de rela\u00e7\u00f5es entre os dois Estados, com esfor\u00e7os concretos para construir uma confian\u00e7a rec\u00edproca. A pol\u00edtica, afirma o Cardeal, vem em segundo plano. \u201cA reunifica\u00e7\u00e3o pac\u00edfica das duas Coreias depende do esfor\u00e7o do povo coreano, antes mesmo do esfor\u00e7o dos dois governos\u201d, vincou.
