Cidade do Vaticano, 13 mai 2011 (Ecclesia) – Bento XVI nomeou hoje como novo bispo auxiliar de Bissau o padre José Lampra Cà, de 47 anos, até agora reitor do seminário menor de San Kizito e professor de filosofia.<\/p>\n
O novo prelado junta-se a D. José Câmnate, bispo de Bissau, e a D. Carlos Pedro Zilli, bispo de Bafatá, como membro do episcopado da Guiné-Bissau.<\/p>\n
José Lampra Cà nasceu em Blom, na região de Biombo, e estudou no Senegal, tendo sido ordenado padre em dezembro de 1997.<\/p>\n
Após a ordenação, estudou em Roma entre 2000 e 2005, regressando a Bissau, onde foi pároco e desempenhou funções de reitor e professor nos seminários diocesanos.<\/p>\n
