Bento XVI aceitou esta Quinta-feira a renúncia do Bispo da diocese de Limerick (Irlanda), D. Donal Brendan Murray, um dos prelados referidos pelo relatório Murphy, que revelou casos de abusos sobre menores na arquidiocese de Dublin, como tendo “dissimulado” informação.<\/p>\n
Em breve comunicado, a Santa Sé anuncia a decisão, justificada com o cân. 401 § 2, do Código de Direito Canónico, o qual convida os Bispos a renuncia em caso de doença ou outra “causa grave”.<\/p>\n
