O Vaticano anunciou que Bento XVI irá almoçar com as pessoas pobres assistidas pela Comunidade Santo Egídio, em Roma. A iniciativa acontece no último Domingo do ano, dia 27, festa da Sagrada Família.<\/p>\n
O almoço, classificado como um “compromisso inédito” do Papa, está marcado para as 13h00 (hora local, menos uma em Lisboa) na sede da comunidade, no bairro Trastevere.<\/p>\n
A Comunidade de Santo Egídio nasceu em Roma em 1968, logo após o Concílio Vaticano II. Hoje é um movimento de leigos, ao qual aderem mais de 50 mil pessoas, empenhado na evangelização e na caridade em Roma, na Itália e em mais de 70 Países de vários continentes, incluindo Portugal.<\/p>\n
