Ou seja: sem nos identificarmos com o abandono \u00e0 vontade do Pai; com o servi\u00e7o aos irm\u00e3os at\u00e9 ao fim; com a entrega da pr\u00f3pria vida\u201d, afirmou D. Nuno Br\u00e1s, na homilia, informa o Jornal da Madeira.<\/p>\n<p>O bispo diocesano aludia ao Evangelho que diz que os disc\u00edpulos n\u00e3o compreendiam as palavras de Jesus, quando lhes disse que o Filho do homem iria ser \u201centregue \u00e0s m\u00e3os dos homens\u201d, que O matariam, mas Ele, tr\u00eas dias depois de morto, ressuscitaria.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cN\u00e3o compreenderam [as palavras] naquele momento nem as compreenderam na manh\u00e3 de P\u00e1scoa porque ainda n\u00e3o tinham a \u2018sabedoria da cruz\u2019, como dir\u00e1 S. Paulo\u201d, assinalou o bispo.<\/p>\n<p>Segundo D. Nuno Br\u00e1s, \u201capenas aquele que se deixa identificar com Jesus na cruz \u00e9 capaz de olhar com esperan\u00e7a para a sua pr\u00f3pria vida e para a vida do mundo\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>O bispo diocesano assinala que \u201co ser humano sonha sempre um mundo melhor\u201d, no entanto \u201ca esperan\u00e7a n\u00e3o \u00e9 um desejo ou um sonho: \u00e9 a certeza de uma vida (a Vida Eterna), que apenas Deus nos pode oferecer porque consiste na pr\u00f3pria vida divina\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u00c9 por isso que pouco nos importa que, a n\u00f3s crist\u00e3os, disc\u00edpulos de Jesus, nos tomem por fracos, tolos ou incapazes s\u00f3 porque n\u00e3o vivemos de acordo com o mundo e os seus crit\u00e9rios; s\u00f3 porque propomos um caminho alternativo \u00e0s riquezas, \u00e0 fama, ao poder\u201d, destacou.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSim: queremos e dispomo-nos a viver de um modo diferente. De um modo radicalmente diferente, porque Deus nos d\u00e1 a certeza da ressurrei\u00e7\u00e3o, da Vida Eterna. E Deus n\u00e3o desilude, n\u00e3o \u00e9 infiel; sempre cumpre as suas promessas\u201d, acrescentou D. Nuno Br\u00e1s, \u201cuma novidade radical\u201d que cada um procura, \u201cem cada dia, viver sempre vez melhor\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPor isso, devemos tomar consci\u00eancia de que a esperan\u00e7a crist\u00e3 n\u00e3o \u00e9 apenas algo dirigido para um futuro que ainda n\u00e3o existe. A esperan\u00e7a crist\u00e3 \u00e9 algo para ser vivido e para transformar o presente, a hist\u00f3ria, a nossa vida concreta\u201d, salientou.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPrecisamos de transbordar de Esperan\u00e7a\u201d \u00e9 o tema do Ano Pastoral 2024\/2025 na Diocese do Funchal, centrado no Jubileu 2025, que assinala o 2025 anos do nascimento de Jesus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNele somos convidados pelo Papa Francisco a &#8216;transbordar de esperan\u00e7a\u2019 &#8211; de esperan\u00e7a crist\u00e3, que de sonhos, promessas e ideais humanos j\u00e1 estamos desenganados\u201d, mencionou.<\/p>\n<p>D. Nuno Br\u00e1s garante que ao longo do ano pastoral, nas muitas atividades propostas, n\u00e3o se vai deixar de testemunhar a \u201c\u2019sabedoria da cruz\u2019, a \u00fanica capaz de oferecer verdadeira esperan\u00e7a \u00e0 humanidade (cf. Gal 6,14)\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEste \u00e9 um caminho que n\u00e3o queremos apenas percorrer individualmente, mas que nos propomos realizar tamb\u00e9m como Igreja Diocesana, povo que caminha nestas Ilhas atl\u00e2nticas\u201d, sublinhou.<\/p>\n<p>O bispo do Funchal fez refer\u00eancia aos acontecimentos do mundo, em casa ou em terras distantes, que quase convidam a desesperar.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cQuerem matar-nos a esperan\u00e7a. Mas n\u00f3s, crist\u00e3os, n\u00e3o podemos deixar de anunciar a Pessoa de Jesus, morto e ressuscitado. Nuno Br\u00e1s dirigiu-se a Marcos Rebelo, institu\u00eddo ac\u00f3lito na celebra\u00e7\u00e3o, manifestando o desejo que \u201co servi\u00e7o ao altar\u201d fa\u00e7a crescer no jovem \u201ca disponibilidade para o servi\u00e7o a todos e ao pr\u00f3prio Deus\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cS\u00ea, tamb\u00e9m tu, um constante anunciador da esperan\u00e7a \u2014 aquela virtude que nos permite erguer a cabe\u00e7a, viver e ultrapassar (mesmo amar) todas as derrotas e sofrimentos porque em n\u00f3s habita a certeza da ressurrei\u00e7\u00e3o e da vida eterna\u201d, referiu.<\/p>\n<p>Na conclus\u00e3o da Eucaristia, concelebrada pela maioria dos membros do cabido, por sacerdotes diocesanos e n\u00e3o s\u00f3, o bispo voltou a agradecer a todos os secretariados, movimentos e confrarias, algumas das quais com os seus estandartes, pela presen\u00e7a na cerim\u00f3nia, bem como ao coro que ajudou a solenizar o momento.<\/p>\n<p><em>LJ\/OC<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>D.
