O Pe. Ant\u00f3nio Borges, focolarino sacerdote portugu\u00eas foi escolhido para integrar a equipa de conselheiros do novo governo dos Focolares, eleito durante a Assembleia geral do Movimento que ontem terminou em Castelgandolfo com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o de centenas de membros. O encontro, iniciado a 7 de Julho passado, tinha como principal escopo eleger a sucessora de Chiara Lubich (falecida a 14 de Mar\u00e7o) na presid\u00eancia do Movimento fundado em 1943 e actualmente presente em 182 pa\u00edses. A escolha caiu em Maria Emmaus Voce, com larga experi\u00eancia no campo ecum\u00e9nico; sendo acompanhada pelo novo co-presidente, Pe. Giancarlo Faletti (ambos italianos). Nesta mesma Assembleia foram escolhidos novos conselheiros para as diversas \u00e1reas (com a marca da internacionalidade), com destaque para o portugu\u00eas Pe. Ant\u00f3nio Borges, antigo co-respons\u00e1vel dos Focolares em Portugal e que neste momento estava em miss\u00e3o no Oriente. Natural dos A\u00e7ores, o Pe. Borges \u00e9 focolarino h\u00e1 mais de trinta anos, depois de se ter formado em Agronomia.
