Da responsabilidade do Conselho Pontif\u00edcio para a Pastoral dos Migrantes e Itinerantes, o encontro vai decorrer em Nairobi, sob o tema \u201cPara um melhor cuidado pastoral dos migrantes e refugiados em \u00c1frica na aurora do terceiro mil\u00e9nio\u201d. O fen\u00f3meno da mobilidade humana, volunt\u00e1ria ou for\u00e7ada, caracterizou sempre a historia da humanidade, mas nos \u00faltimos anos assumiu dimens\u00f5es quase universais e significados cada vez mais complexos.
