Jos\u00e9 Ornelas, ao receber o documento, em formato digital, de Pedro Strecht, coordenador da CI.<\/p>\n<p>A entrega decorreu numa sess\u00e3o realizada na sede da Confer\u00eancia Episcopal Portuguesa, com a presen\u00e7a da Presid\u00eancia da CEP e dos membros da Comiss\u00e3o Independente.<\/p>\n<p>D. Jos\u00e9 Ornelas.<\/p>\n<p>O respons\u00e1vel sublinhou a \u201cunanimidade a CEP\u201d em confiar o estudo de casos de abuso na Igreja a uma Comiss\u00e3o Independente, para conhecer para \u201cestudar a fenomenologia desta realidade\u201d que preocupa \u201cprofundamente pela dor de quem sofreu\u201d e pela \u201ccontradi\u00e7\u00e3o que significa\u201d em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 \u201cmiss\u00e3o como igreja\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Pedro Strecht, presidente da CI, agradeceu \u00e0 CEP a &#8220;confian\u00e7a&#8221; que foi depositada na comiss\u00e3o e a disponibiliza\u00e7\u00e3o dos &#8220;meios para que o trabalho fosse executado e prosseguisse sempre em total isen\u00e7\u00e3o e independ\u00eancia&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTodos esperamos que este trabalho d\u00ea frutos e possa constituir uma nova etapa dentro daquilo que mais desejamos que \u00e9 o bem-estar as crian\u00e7as e o conhecimento da pr\u00f3pria Igreja daquilo que aconteceu de errado no passado e a perspetiva positiva da constru\u00e7\u00e3o de um novo futuro\u201d, afirmou o pedopsiquiatra, agradecendo tamb\u00e9m a todos os membros da Comiss\u00e3o Independente e ao grupo de Episcopal Portuguesa decidiu criar, na Assembleia Plen\u00e1ria de novembro de 2021, uma comiss\u00e3o para estudar os casos de abuso sexual na Igreja Cat\u00f3lica.<\/p>\n<p>A CI foi apresentada publicamente no dia 10 de janeiro de 2022 e revelou, dez meses depois, ter validado at\u00e9 ent\u00e3o 424 testemunhos, apontando para um \u201cn\u00famero significativo\u201d de abusadores entre 1950 e 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Esta segunda-feira, a Comiss\u00e3o Independente apresenta publicamente o relat\u00f3rio final sobre os casos de abuso sexual na Igreja Cat\u00f3lica entre 1950 e 2022, entre 09h30 \u00e0s 12h30, no Audit\u00f3rio 2 da Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Calouste Gulbenkian.<\/p>\n<p>No mesmo dia, partir das 16h00, o presidente e os membros do <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conferenciaepiscopal.pt\/v1\/conselho-permanente\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Conselho Permanente<\/a> da CEP encontram-se com os jornalistas numa confer\u00eancia de imprensa a realizar na Universidade Cat\u00f3lica Portuguesa, no piso 1 do edif\u00edcio da biblioteca da institui\u00e7\u00e3o acad\u00e9mica, em Lisboa.<\/p>\n<p><em>PR<\/em><\/p>\n<table inf\u00e2ncia e adolesc\u00eancia; entre v\u00e1rios trabalhos na \u00e1rea da pedopsiquiatria, foi supervisor do Projeto de Apoio \u00e0 Fam\u00edlia e \u00e0 Crian\u00e7a Maltratada, coordenador da Equipa de Interven\u00e7\u00e3o Psicossocial do Gabinete de Reconvers\u00e3o do Casal Ventoso, de Centros Educativos do Instituto de Reinser\u00e7\u00e3o Social e do Gabinete para Interven\u00e7\u00e3o em Crise da Casa Pia de Lisboa.<\/p>\n<p>A equipa integra ainda, \u00c1lvaro Laborinho L\u00facio, juiz conselheiro jubilado do Supremo Tribunal de Justi\u00e7a, antigo Ministro da Justi\u00e7a; Ana Nunes de Almeida, soci\u00f3loga e investigadora do Instituto de Ci\u00eancias Sociais da Universidade de Lisboa e presidente do respetivo Conselho Cient\u00edfico, que coordenou o estudo sobre \u2018Maus Tratos a Crian\u00e7as na Fam\u00edlia\u2019, encomendado pelo Parlamento, em 1999; Daniel Sampaio, psiquiatra, professor catedr\u00e1tico jubilado da Faculdade de Medicina de Lisboa; Filipa Tavares, assistente social e terapeuta familiar, que trabalhou cerca de 25 anos numa IPSS, \u2018Casa da Praia\/Centro Dr. Jo\u00e3o dos Santos\u2019 com fam\u00edlias disfuncionais e de risco; Catarina Vasconcelos, cineasta, licenciada na Faculdade de Belas Artes com p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em Antropologia Visual no ISCTE e mestrado no Royal College of Art,
