O governo cubano est\u00e1 aberto a um “di\u00e1logo cordial” com a Igreja Cat\u00f3lica, disse ontem o presidente do Conselho Episcopal Latino-Americano (Celam), o arcebispo brasileiro D. Raymundo Damasceno. Representantes da Celam reuniram-se com o vice-presidente cubano, Carlos Lage, com o dirigente Esteban Lazo, com o chanceler Felipe P\u00e9rez Roque e com outras autoridades. “H\u00e1 uma abertura do governo ao di\u00e1logo com as autoridades da Igreja. Acho que h\u00e1 um clima bom. Melhorou”, disse dom Raymundo, eleito nesta semana presidente da Celam, na primeira reuni\u00e3o de bispos latino-americanos a ser realizada em Cuba. Emilio Araguren, bispo da cidade cubana de Holgu\u00edn, disse que a reuni\u00e3o desta semana com as autoridades comunistas pode ser s\u00f3 o come\u00e7o. “As portas ficaram abertas para isso”, comentou o bispo cubano, eleito nesta semana presidente do Comit\u00e9 Econ\u00f3mico da Celam.
