Uma exposi\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00edcones modernos \u00e9 o presente que o Conselho Pontif\u00edcio para a Cultura e a embaixada de \u00c1ustria na Santa S\u00e9 ofereceram a Jo\u00e3o Paulo II no vig\u00e9simo quinto anivers\u00e1rio de pontificado. A exposi\u00e7\u00e3o ser\u00e1 inaugurada no pr\u00f3ximo dia 15 de Outubro, no Pal\u00e1cio S\u00e3o Calisto, pelo cardeal Paul Poupard, presidente do Conselho Pontif\u00edcio para a Cultura. Segundo a ag\u00eancia Zenit, as obras est\u00e3o assinadas pelo artista austr\u00edaco Anton Wollenk, criador de \u00edcones contempor\u00e2neos do Kair\u00f3s, conceito de tempo teol\u00f3gico-filos\u00f3fico para a decis\u00e3o de cada momento. As obras esculpidas em alto-relevo de madeira e posteriormente pintadas, s\u00e3o conhecidas desde a primeira exposi\u00e7\u00e3o, apresentada em Baden, \u00c1ustria, em 1967.
