De 17 a 26 de Julho A Ilha do Corvo vai receber, pela segunda vez, a visita de D. Manuel da Silva Martins, bispo em\u00e9rito da Diocese de Set\u00fabal de 17 a 26 de Julho. O prelado estar\u00e1 na mais pequena Ilha a\u00e7oriana \u201ca convite da Par\u00f3quia de Nossa Senhora dos Milagres\u201d \u2013 real\u00e7a um comunicado enviado \u00e0 Ag\u00eancia ECCLESIA pelo p\u00e1roco local, Pe. Alexandre Medeiros Para acolher o bispo em\u00e9rito de Set\u00fabal foi preparado um programa de Boas-vindas, do qual constam o acolhimento no aer\u00f3dromo do Corvo previsto para as 11h 30 desta segunda-feira; uma Eucaristia Solene na Matriz da Vila e um jantar na resid\u00eancia Paroquial, com os representantes das entidades e institui\u00e7\u00f5es da Ilha e os membros do Conselho Pastoral. D. Manuel Martins j\u00e1 esteve no Corvo em 1999 a substituir o p\u00e1roco de ent\u00e3o, Pe. Carlos Macedo, que aproveitou \u201cpara gozar umas merecidas f\u00e9rias. Desta vez a hist\u00f3ria torna-se a repetir, porque o sacerdote que est\u00e1 ao servi\u00e7o da Comunidade crist\u00e3 da Ilha, deixando o seu rebanho aos zelosos cuidados do Bispo, ir\u00e1 passar uma semana de f\u00e9rias \u00e0 Ilha de S\u00e3o Miguel\u201d \u2013 escreve. O primeiro Bispo de Set\u00fabal nasceu em Le\u00e7a do Balio, Matosinhos a 27 de Janeiro de 1927, recebeu a Ordena\u00e7\u00e3o sacerdotal em 1951 e em 26 de Outubro de 1975 foi ordenado bispo na S\u00e9 de Set\u00fabal.
