Jos\u00e9 de Cluny, fundada a 12 de Maio de 1807 em Fran\u00e7a por Ana Maria Javouhey e chegada a Portugal em Outubro de 1881, celebra durante este ano o bicenten\u00e1rio da sua funda\u00e7\u00e3o, bem como os 125 anos de presen\u00e7a em Portugal. A Prov\u00edncia Portuguesa decidiu celebrar estas comemora\u00e7\u00f5es ao longo dum ano – de 23 de Abril de 2006 a 27 de Maio de 2007.
