O Dia Internacional das Pessoas com Defici\u00eancia (3 de dezembro ) \u00e9 uma data comemorativa internacional promovida pelas Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas desde 1992, com o objetivo de promover uma maior compreens\u00e3o dos assuntos relacionados com a defici\u00eancia e para mobilizar a defesa da dignidade, dos direitos e o bem estar das pessoas. Procura tamb\u00e9m aumentar a consci\u00eancia dos benef\u00edcios trazidos pelas pessoas com defici\u00eancia em cada aspeto da vida pol\u00edtica, social, econ\u00f3mica e cultural. No seu centro est\u00e1 a defesa da dignidade das pessoas com defici\u00eancia para o desenvolvimento de um mundo mais inclusivo e equitativo.<\/p>\n
